Advisory Committee

The Advisory Committee was established to guide the governing body in prioritizing projects for funding from the Federal Transit Administration’s Enhanced Mobility of Seniors and Individuals with Disabilities (Section 5310) and the Special Transportation Improvement Fund via the Oregon Department of Transportation, as outlined in the committee’s bylaws.

The Committee comprises a minimum of five and a maximum of seven members who represent Coos County. Each member serves a two-year term. Membership includes individuals who utilize transportation services for seniors or individuals with disabilities, providers of such services, elderly or disabled residents of Coos County, and a representative for these populations. The Committee convenes at least twice a year, and members are encouraged to participate in meetings of the CCAT Board of Directors.

Those interested in joining the Advisory Committee can download and complete an application, which should be mailed to the CCAT Board of Directors at the Coos County Area Transportation District, located at 2810 Ocean Blvd, Coos Bay, Oregon 97420.

For public transparency, notices of meetings and minutes from the Advisory Committee sessions are available in the events archive.
