CCAT seeking input on changes to Gold Line

To better meet the needs of our clients, Coos County Transportation District is considering making changes to the Gold Line route, which serves Eastside and Englewood.

Currently, Gold Line runs twice a day, with nine stops between 10:25 and 10:50 a.m. and 2:45 to 3:15 p.m.

CCAT is considering replacing the nine stops on Gold Line with general public dial a ride during the same time periods. The big difference is dial a ride will have curb to curb service rather than the nine current stops.

Before making any changes, CCAT is asking the community for feedback. Public comment can be made by emailing info@coostransit.org, calling 541-267-7111 or attending the board of directors meeting at 9 a.m. December 9.
